Top 5 Workout Songs For A Super Intense Workout

By admin | August 4, 2008

I have to have workout songs when I train. I don’t know about you but I can’t train in silence and I’ve never liked the workout music in the gyms.

Plus, when I hit the gym for my workout program, I’m there to have the best workout I can and then get out.

I’m not there to pick up women.

I’m not there to look at the fitness babes and drool like an idiot.

I’m not there to socialize.

And I’m not there to grunt and groan like a bodybuilding idot so everyone will look at how “intense” I workout.

I’m there to get a great workout. Period.

And that means I grab my mp3 player (no, not my Ipod. I want an mp3 player that works. Uh, oh, Steve Jobs is going to crush me like a bug now) with my favorite workout songs, put my earplugs in and don’t make eye contact with anybody.

Don’t worry, I’m quite social outside the gym. LOL!

When I train, my workout songs have to be upbeat. But not pop.

Not club music.

Not techno.

The workout music has to have great drums, bass, and a heavy rhythm guitar.

My Top 5 Workout Songs (In no particular order)

I know, I know, that’s really 11 workout songs. It started out as 5. Really. And I’m sure I could make it longer too.

What about you? Workout music or silence? And what kind of workout music? Give it to me!
